Orb Mellon is the blues persona of Mike Malone, the acclaimed guitarist from the 1990s indie rock band Dirt Merchants. Known for his raw, whiskey-fueled house party delta blues, Orb Mellon channels the spirit of Bukka White and Junior Kimbrough. With six albums to his name and performances at major festivals like the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Orb Mellon delivers pure, aggressive folk blues that has been featured on television shows and films including "True Blood" and "The Good Wife."
Dave Robbins, a master blues harpist, first fell in love with the harmonica at 14 and has been a fixture in the blues scene ever since. With experience ranging from playing with the West End Blues Band to opening for blues legends like Junior Wells and Koko Taylor, Dave Robbins currently fronts The Incredible Amplifires and occasionally joins Mud Morganfield's band.
